Club Time is a special part of the day at London Elementary. It allows for students to grow and learn in an area of their interest, to have a sense of belonging and ownership, and to develop positive relationships with others outside of their classroom. At the beginning of the school year, Mrs. Malin visits each classroom and talks with students about the clubs that will be offered. Students then select the clubs that are of interest to them. Every student at London attends a club twice per week for a semester. Students change clubs in January so that they can experience two clubs each year. Clubs are led by specialists and volunteers. Club offerings include: Art, Chess, Choir, Coding, Dance, Dribblers, Garden, Leadership, Puppets, and Robotics.

On the days when students are not attending their club, the classroom teacher works with small groups and/or individual students on their own path of learning. If a student needs acceleration in the classroom, then the teacher supports the student so that they receive accelerated instruction. If a student needs extra help in a skill, then the teacher provides support to the student so that they are successful in that skill.

During the spring semester, Drama Club is offered to second-fourth grade students after school. Drama Club meets three days a week from February to April. It ends with a community performance of a play. Past productions include Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, and The Wizard of Oz.

Our science specialist leads our Green Team throughout the school year. Members of the Green Team meet during lunch once a week. They collect and organize our recycling material and ensure that we are doing our part to help our environment.
