Another tournament for the CVE Robotics teams this past weekend. This time we traveled to Bethel Middle School and played amazingly! Both teams made it to the finals and the 4th grade team came home as the Teamwork Champions. This win includes an invitation to the State Robotics Tournament on March 9th.

🧠 Working Memory Focus This Week: Stop – Sort – Plan!
This week, we’re practicing organizational skills at school using the strategy Stop – Sort – Plan — and you can try it at home, too!
✅ STOP – Pause and talk about what needs to be done.
✅ SORT – Put tasks into categories (now, later, done).
✅ PLAN – Make a simple checklist or schedule together.
Small daily practice builds big lifelong skills!
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s success!

January Dates to Remember

On Thursday, Jan. 15th, we will have our annual Book Character Parade. All students and staff are encouraged to dress as a favorite book character and carry the book as we parade through the halls at 8:15. Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes will gather in the Dining Hall following the parade, where they will go on stage and introduce themselves. (Students may want to bring a change of clothes and save Dr. Seuss costumes for Dr. Seuss Day in March.)

We are proud of all of our Spelling Bee participants and congratulations to our finalists!👏🏻🐝

The CVE Robotics team competed in their first tournament of the season on Thursday, December 11th. They performed well, had fun, and came back with new ideas for the robot.

Thank you Cyclone Softball Team for greeting our students this morning! #funfriday🤗

Don't forget Spirit Week next week!🎄

Thank you to Jane's Blessings and K's Junktique for donating prizes for our staff Ugly Sweater Contest!

Our 3rd Grade students did a fantastic musical performance of Snow Day, under the direction of Mrs. Shaw. Shout out to the amazing "Grandma", Miss El!

It's that time of year!
