Congratulations to our May Employee & Student of the Month!
Our May Student of the Month is 8th grader, Weston Short. He was nominated by Mrs. Ronda and here is what she had to say about Weston:
"This kid is absolutely precious. I don't hear a lot of kids talking about college in the 8th grade, but he does. He talks about wanting to keep his grades up so he doesn't have to have a lot of help with tuition from his family. When I see him outside of the library he is always smiling and always comes through and asks us how we are doing. He has offered to help with things numerous times and we just love him."
Our May Employee of the Month is RJHS Assistant Principal, Mrs. Sara Walker! She was nominated by Coach Williams, Coach Tucker, Coach Correia, and Coach Bryant and here is what they had to say about Mrs. Walker:
"Sarah Walker is the most deserving person in this building. She has been doing the job of two people this entire year. She has been CONSISTENT with discipline and students do not want to be sent to the office. She is amazing at coming up with solutions when problems arise or help is needed. She has been able to keep a sense of humor in challenging situations and is always fun to be around. Even if she is busy she will always take time for her staff. We have so much respect and admiration for the job she has done and is still doing."
