Mr. Edwards brings history to life in his classroom, helping students connect the past to the present through engaging lessons and discussions. On the softball field, he motivates his athletes to work hard, play smart, and support one another as a team. Mr. McClure sparks curiosity and creativity in every class he teaches, from building robots to mastering coding skills. Mrs. Petty is dedicated to supporting our 6th graders as they navigate the exciting transition to middle school. She’s always ready to listen, encourage, and guide students through both challenges and successes. Her caring nature and commitment to student well-being help make RMS a welcoming and supportive place for all. We’re thankful to have her as part of our counseling team!
Mrs. Robinson brings energy and encouragement to both the classroom and the cheer squad. In math, she helps students build strong skills and confidence through clear instruction and engaging activities. On the sidelines, she inspires school spirit and teamwork among our cheerleaders. Mrs. Van Wie brings passion, skill, and dedication to the RMS band program. She works hard to help students grow as musicians while building teamwork, discipline, and a love for music. Mr. Ball is passionate about helping students become confident readers, writers, and thinkers. Ms. Koch brings clarity, patience, and enthusiasm to every math lesson. She’s dedicated to helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics and develop problem-solving skills that will serve them for years to come. Her positive attitude and supportive teaching style make math a subject students can enjoy and feel confident about. We’re glad she’s part of the RMS team!
Mr. Harris brings energy, talent, and a love for music to the RMS choir program. He inspires students to find their voice, work as a team, and share their musical gifts with confidence. Whether it’s preparing for a big performance or learning new skills, Mr. Harris makes choir a fun and rewarding experience. We’re proud to have him leading our RMS singers! 🎶
Is your student interested in Quiz Bowl? If so, there is an interest meeting on Thursday (8/21) after school. Students will stay after school until 4:00. Please pick them up in the front car rider line at 4:00. This meeting is for interested students only. After tryouts, there will be a parent meeting at a later date. The RMS Spirit Squad just finished up an amazing summer camp! They spent several days bonding through activities like Secret Sis, learning chants and band dances, and worked hard on technique and skills!
