We would like to introduce our SLC Student of the Month for December, Illiana Carrington. Illiana graduated in December and has done a wonderful job of being an all around student. She has worked hard in her classes, she has tried to promote school spirit, and she has helped other students reach their potential. Her next step will be to attend college and work in the nursing field. We are proud of her!
Coach Cranor and Mrs. Carter are our faculty members of the month. They were nominated by our students for their passion. We want to congratulate them on a job well done and their love for making a difference in student lives.

We went to the Arkansas River Valley Cherokee Church (ARVCC) Clothing Outreach Center on Crow Mountain Road. ARVCC does clothing giveaways every 4th Saturday from 1-3. We sorted through donations and placed clothes on hangers or, in the case of baby clothes, folded them and placed them in boxes. Lauren also helped by tearing apart new business cards. We were able to accomplish a lot in the hour we were there. The kids were awesome and worked really hard!
