Our fourth grade Tigers are conducting experiments and researching concussions as part of their Project Lead The Way science unit on the human body. Today they learned about short term memory versus long term memory. Mr. Livermore showed a tray of 16 different objects for 30 seconds then covered it. Students wrote down what they could remember using their short term memory. They learned how short term memory works, and we learned that our Tigers have really good short term memory skills!

Two of our teachers were surprised this week with the news that they received grants from Junior Auxiliary! Ms. Wade received a grant to add STEM centers to her classroom. Mrs. Humphrey received a grant to create a STEAM Makerspace in the science lab!

Our bicycle rodeo is in full swing this morning and may be the hottest one on record! Thank you to all of our amazing parent and community volunteers that are here to help...from unloading bikes, check-ins, leading stations, passing out water bottles, and many more things! Last semester’s Garden Club planted purple potatoes at the end of the school year. Today this semester’s Garden Club dug up a few of them!
