
RSD will hold Parent/Teacher Conferences on Monday, February 12 from 1 to 7 p.m. for RMS & SLC and on Tuesday, February 13 from 1 to 7 p.m. for Kindergarten-5th grades.
RHS and RJHS will hold Student Success/College and Career Readiness Conferences on Monday, Feb 12 from 1-7 p.m.
There will be no school on Monday, Feb 12 and Tuesday, Feb 13 due to teacher professional development and P/T Conferences. Classes will resume on Wednesday, February 14.


SLC students created the board and became the pawns in a human board game in English class. It was a great way to get out of their chair and move around while reviewing for a quiz!



Russellville School District invites parents and the community to a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Showcase on Wednesday, January 31, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Center for the Arts. Join the RSD Athletic Department for RussVegas Karaoke on Saturday, January 27th at the Center for the Arts. The night will kick off with a silent auction at 6 p.m. and karaoke performances beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and free for students.


Russellville School District will be closed on Friday, January 19, 2018, due to the high numbers of students experiencing flu-like symptoms. All after-school activities scheduled for Friday will continue as planned. Classes will resume on Monday, January 22.

January is School Board Member Recognition Month, and RSD would like to thank the seven school board members who advocate and shape the direction of our school district. Members of the RSD School Board include Morgan Barrett, Chris Cloud, Breanne Davis, Allan George, Jami Mullen, Jeff Phillips, and Wesley White.


Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, January 15th for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and Teacher Professional Development. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 16.


Tala Jackson, Deante Seals, and Kevin Arevalo were special judges for the RMS door decoration competition. Congrats to Coach Chagnon's class who won 1st place!

RSD will dismiss one hour early on Thursday, December 21, for the Christmas break. Classes will resume on Monday, January 8, 2018. The district wishes you and your family a wonderful holiday season.


Landon Davis is a local volunteer at the Dover Rural Fire Department. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Monday of every month, he volunteers at the fire department to help out! We are proud of you Landon!

On 11/17/17, Connect Church served over 75 students, family, and staff a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The students made gratitude pumpkins for the event and staff made desserts. Thank you to all!

Brandon Harderson is SLC's Student of the Month. He was nominated for his tremendous work ethic, polite manners, and ability to come to school each day and conquer each task. Congrats to Brandon!

Ms. Guiltner's Science classes used unconventional materials to design bridges that could span 12 inches and hold a cup of pennies.





2017-2018 Flu Clinic Dates Announced
The Russellville School District, in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), is providing the flu vaccine to students and staff the week of October 16-20. Flu packets will be sent home with students over the next several weeks. Friday 10/20/2017 SLC-morning
